As people get older bones can get weaker and more susceptible to breaking; a condition known as osteoporosis.  This is often an area of care for older people that is overlooked as most people are unaware that they have the condition before they sustain a broken bone. It is important that an assessment of bone health is made if an individual may be at risk of falling or sustaining an injury. Dr Henderson is able to make an assessment of the chance of sustaining a broken bone (fracture) and recommend potential treatments that will help maintain strong and healthy bones.
